What is the target widget and how do I use it to track goals?

The Target widget lets you set clear goals for any metric, based on your filtered dataset—and track your actual results against those goals over time. It’s perfect for aligning performance with expectations and keeping your team focused on what matters.

You can choose between two chart types:

  • Line chart:

Shows performance over time, with a projected goal line from the start date to the end date—so you can see if you’re trending toward success.

  • Bar chart:

Gives a snapshot view of total performance to date and whether you're on track. You'll instantly see if you’re hitting your goal—and by how much you're over or under.

You can create multiple targets across different metrics, campaigns, or timeframes—there’s no limit.

How to add a target widget to your dashboard:

  1. Edit your dashboard
  2. Drag and drop the Target widget into your layout
  3. Add a title (e.g. Revenue Q4 2025)
  4. Select your dataset
  5. Apply filters to focus on specific data (like a single campaign or region)
  6. Choose the metric you want to track
  7. Set your start and end date for the target period
  8. Enter your target value
  9. Choose your chart type: Line or Bar

That’s it. Your goal is now visual, trackable, and shareable.

If you already have historical data in SEINō, click the calculator icon in the target input field to auto-calculate your target based on past performance. It's a great way to set realistic and data-backed goals.
